The following song is my wife's favorite song and we listened to it when we were first going together, as sung by Tony Bennett. By the way we still listen to it quite often.
Love is lovelier, the second time around
Just as wonderful, with both feet on the ground
It's that second time you hear your love song sung
Makes you think perhaps that love,
like youth, is wasted on the young
Love's more comfortable the second time you fall
Like a friendly home the second time you call
Who can say, what brought us to this miracle we've found
There are those who'd bet
Love comes but once - and yet
I'm oh so glad we met
The second time around

P.S. It is now 6/13/2005 and fortunately Rosalie doesn't suffer from
the shingles anymore. Now she is having a problem with high blood pressure. We hope that can soon be corrected. (4/12/2006) The latest news is that Rosalie's blood pressure is better, but we have relieved her of some of her duties by having a woman come in early and dress me and help me with my exercises at that time.

P.P.S. On June 13th, 2006 my dear wife had a mastectomy, followed by a mild heart attack. After 4 days in ICU she began her slow road to recovery. Fortunately she is gaining strength each day and we are indeed very grateful.

P.P.S. This is January 10th, 2007, the day before our 9th Anniversary and we are still going. Tomorrow we'll celebrate at our favorite Olde Richmond Inn restaurant.
P.P.S.S. What do you know we are still around and doing pretty well considering. Rosalie is taking a little vacation and will visit her daughter in Portsmouth, NH for the last week of June. ...Earl
